Financial Assistance

A limited amount of Financial Assistance is available to families with students admitted to, or currently enrolled at St. Mary’s Primary School. There are no published income guidelines and assistance is distributed based on a need-based ranking, as well as, case by case due to extenuating circumstances.

Financial Assistance is offered in the form of a scholarship applied directly to the 2010 – 2011 tuition.

Financial Assistance is made available through:

  • The Saint Mary’s Education Fund (sponsored by the Diocese of Fall River, where scholarships are funded through the efforts of concerned and generous members of our Diocesan community, which support students in our schools throughout our diocese).

  • Request for Elementary Financial Assistance Form (personally contacting your parish’s pastor with this form, which may offer financial assistance of up to $300 per student). Forms are made available by contacting our business office or online.

  • Donations (We welcome, encourage and do receive various donations earmarked for scholarships from school families, parishioners and friends).

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (an independent company) will conduct the financial need analysis in March 2010 so that St. Mary’s Primary School can fulfill it commitment to need-based scholarships while protecting your personal information. There is an application process that begins on January 31st, which applicants must apply to be considered for financial assistance. Notice of awards for applications submitted by March 22nd will be made in June. Notice of awards for late application will be made based upon funds available at the time of application. If you wish to apply, you may simply contact us and request an application packet or apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com.
